Cisco is a San Jose, California-based, multinational corporation that designs, manufactures, and sells networking solutions.
Cisco wanted to migrate their Cisco Support Community site from Jive to Drupal, saving a significant amount off the cost of operations and maintenance of their website. Appnovation began the project with Cisco as a development partner with Acquia.
Our Approach & Customer Outcome
The migration project started with requirements gathering around June 2013, and a fully migrated site was delivered around spring 2014 on Drupal v7.26. The result was a complex site with multi-lingual capabilities (currently supports English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese) with a heavy focus on performance capabilities.
Appnovation continues to work with Cisco on various backlog maintenance issues, platform enhancements to current environment, and continuous improvement, as well as the Cisco On Demand site, CSC mobile application, and most recently a Behat automation project to automate test scripts.
