Recently I’ve been working on an Aegir hosting system to handle the deployment and management of child Drupal sites. I’m impressed with Aegirs ability to handle the install, deploy and backup of an entire network of Drupal sites. The one thing I found to be lacking was the install documentation for Aegir. So, I’m just going to outline the steps I took to download and install Aegir on three virtual boxes.
