Canadian Cancer Society

Non-Profit

Challenge

The Canadian Cancer Society launches multiple campaigns on an annual basis, each targeting areas such as early breast cancer detection. Previously, the organization had launched each web site individually without a unified platform. This resulted in high maintenance cost as each site needed to be custom built. Also, there was no single sign-on capability across any of the web sites. Thus, site functionalities could not be shared.

Solution

Appnovation built a Drupal based, multi-site, campaign platform for the Canadian Cancer Society. The platform allows for a single sign-on, functionalities/content sharing and the easy creation of any future campaign web sites. This solution has not only reduced the web sites maintenance and hosting costs, but it also offers site upgrades that can be made to all the web sites in a straight forward manner.
