MuleSoft Integration Flows

MuleSoft Integration Flows

Ameren, based in St. Louis, Missouri, is a holding company for several power & energy companies. The company serves 2.4 million electric, and 900,000 natural gas customers across 64,000 square miles.

Ameren asked Appnovation to integrate Oracle iProcurement with their in-house work order and maintenance management system to exchange requisitions, purchase orders, suppliers, and receipts records between the two systems. Appnovation was able to create 2 sets of integration flows: 1) set pulling data from source system database and forward it to messaging infrastructure for systems decoupling (IBM MQ Series is used); 2) set pulls data from the queues and export it into the target system database. All flows interfacing with Oracle database and IBM MQ Series were participants in a distributed transaction to ensure guaranteed delivery.
