  • An interactive Adoption Workshop to set up and leverage Confluence to plan product and project developments
  • A Deployment Strategy to assist you with your first deployment either on-premise or on the cloud
  • A valid license quote for new users/upgrade

Engagement, Roles, & Responsibilities

The Appnovation team for the engagement will be comprised of the following roles:

  • Project Manager
  • Workshop Faciliator
  • Appnovation Confluence Expert
  • Solution Architect
  • Business Analyst
  • DevOps (Infrastructure / Implementation)

There will be a 1 day on­site visit to the client’s office in Week 1; with the expectation that subsequent sessions with client stakeholders may be done remotely via video conferencing (i.e. BlueJeans, Skype, etc.)


  1. The Pre-Discovery Questionnaire must be completed prior to the 1 day onsite in Week 1
  2. The migration estimate and schedule to be provided will only be for 1 project, wiki or intranet.
  3. Client stakeholders are available for consultation and feedback during Weeks 1 and 2 of the engagement.

  • A customized Pre-Discovery Questionnaire is sent to the main client point of contact 1 week before the start of the 1 day on-site visit.

Completed Questionnaire that:

  • Identifies stakeholders who will need attend the 1 day on-site visit
  • Identifies pain points, current source control system setup and organizational factors that may influence or hinder Confluence adoption

  • Determine roadmap / migration path from current intranet/wiki system to Confluence

  • Price quote for Confluence licensing
  • Project Manager does engagement kickoff with client as well here. Workshop is held with client stakeholders to get a better handle on who will be using Confluence, pain points, desired outcomes and requirements
  • Roadmap / migration path is added to the Playbook
  • License quote is produced to help client understand current cost and forecast future costs for budget allocation purposes
