## Business Challenge

As a global company, we believe in corporate citizenship, where business gives back. Isa Mundo Education is one of those projects that is about enriching the lives of those in need, and one which we are proud of.

The Isa Mundo Foundation is a global non-profit dedicated to supporting small, local, and international projects in communities around the world. Isa Mundo has three primary portfolios of engagement: youth, environment, and educational development.

Our mission for this project was simple: to deliver an exceptional education platform experience for Isa Mundo, on the Volcanes Community Education Project, an educational enhancement program with the mission to equip students with English and basic computer skills, and to encourage children to attend and stay in school. Working for a cause.

## Our Approach & Customer Outcome

Although our digital solutions were needed, this was more of a mission than a project. Creating an engaging experience through technical innovation would not only contribute to the community Isa Mundo project, it would enable the organization to deliver education, developing a platform capable of creating direct interface between student and teacher. Communication, education, innovation, all for a great cause.

Our experts were dedicated to creating, designing, and developing a student development tracking tool. Using innovative technological expertise, our team delivered an educational platform with multiple communication functionality, and brought students’ progress tracking to their teacher’s fingertips.

The Appnovation team built a web-based app for the school’s teachers, enabling logging and tracking of both attendance and academic progress. Additional functionality include SMS communication options between teachers and parents, assisting in tracking and addressing absence rates, bolstering student-parent relationships.

Appnovation’s passion to use their expertise and talented people to create a platform that is modern and user friendly has created an exciting opportunity for our organization to launch something new and innovative. By committing to work with the Volcanes Primary School and its teachers, parents, and students, Appnovation will not only improve access to education, but will also empower community members to reverse the situations and challenges that have hindered their progress.
