11 of the Best Designed Non-profit Websites

Designing a website for a non-profit organization has unique challenges. Most non-profits are funded by donations from the general public, by people who want to see their money go to those in need, not into website design. This consideration demands that design be clean and simple, whilst still conveying the importance of their work and the people they help. Properly delivering their message and providing compelling stories will raise donations, as well, so the design process really must make quite a lot with just a little. As this collection of websites proves, this challenge, when met, can result in some very fine website designs.
