Appnovation wants to congratulate one of our key strategic partners, MuleSoft, on its enormous $128 million investment today. MuleSoft is one of Appnovation’s key strategic partners, who we work with closely as a reseller as well as an implementation partner. We've worked on joint projects at enterprise customers such as: Ameren, Nav Canada, Sutter Health, TriNet, and Tui Marine.
MuleSoft specializes in providing a open ESB platform that connects numerous types of enterprise software together both on-premise and in the cloud.
According to TechCrunch, the leaders behind this Series G round investment were Salesforce Ventures with ServiceNow and Cisco Investments. It also received public market institution investment from Adage Capital Management, Brookside Capital and Sands Capital Ventures. Lastly, existing investors that were also involved included NEA, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Meritech Capital Partners, Bay Partners, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Morgenthaler and Sapphire Ventures.
With today's investments, MuleSoft has a total of $258.5 million raised.
According to MuleSoft’s CEO Greg Schott on TechCrunch, the reason behind MuleSoft’s rapid growth is the enormous need to connect things in a quick and effective manner, and MuleSoft’s platform allows customers to do that. "Instead of manually writing code to make these connections", MuleSoft does this for the customer, allowing scalability and reducing development cost.
