Drupal is used by nonprofits around the world because it provides a low-cost, flexible and scalable platform for any kind of organization. Thousands of Drupal modules and contributions from the community can be leveraged to create custom websites to fit individual needs. Drupal's multilingual capabilities make it especially appealing to organizations serving diverse communities across the globe.
Nonprofits might not have a huge budget to work with, but they still need a modern web presence to stay in touch with donors, reach new community members and have their call to action stand out in the crowd. Drupal is the perfect fit for nonprofits, providing the technology they need without breaking the bank.
Drupal is used by hundreds of nonprofit and NGO sites around the world:
- World Wildlife Fund
- Sesame Street
- Canadian Cancer Society
- Greenpeace Greenwire Global Community
- International Committee of the Red Cross
Appnovation is working with Isa Mundo on the Volcanes Community Education Project, an educational enhancement program with the mission to equip students with English and basic computer skills, and to encourage children to attend and stay in school. We're working on building a web-based app for the school’s teachers that will log and track attendance and academic progress of students, in addition to enabling SMS communication between teachers and parents. The project is around the half way point, with a target launch date of August.
