Challenge

Looker aimed to expand its Custom Visualization library (opens in new window), allowing customers to download and integrate custom visualizations into their Looker dashboards. These visualizations, built in Javascript and open-sourced by Looker, needed to be robust, embeddable, and capable of pulling data directly from Looker for display.

Solution

Appnovation was engaged by Looker's product development team to create multiple custom visualizations within a tight deadline of six weeks. Each visualization was designed to leverage Looker’s data and integrate seamlessly into custom Looker dashboards using Javascript. Our team collaborated closely with Looker to ensure each visualization met their specifications and integrated effectively with Looker's platform.

Result

Appnovation successfully delivered several custom visualizations for Looker. These visualizations expanded Looker’s offering in their Custom Visualization library, enhancing the capabilities available to their customers. The new visualizations allowed Looker users to visualize data in innovative ways directly within their dashboards, improving data interpretation and decision-making processes.
