Global digital consultancy Appnovation has today unveiled a new corporate structure, new investment in its regional offices and a refreshed brand, to enhance its full-service digital capabilities and strengthen its presence in key international markets.
Appnovation delivers meaningful business outcomes through digital strategy and deep industry focus, with an emphasis on user-centric, design-led Experience and Open Technology platforms. Headquartered in Vancouver, with offices in Europe, the US and Asia, the 350-strong company partners multinationals and market leaders in financial services, life sciences, auto, healthcare, retail, media and government.
Recent projects include multinational enterprise platforms for the pharmaceutical industry, highly effective content-based reporting tools for the financial sector and robust, scalable portals for international trade organisations. In addition, Appnovation has also delivered a number of engagement-focused solutions such as an award-winning app and website to support smokers wishing to quit, using the power of their social network.
To drive growth, the consultancy is also investing in its regional network, appointing a general manager to head up each of its three key regions. Andrew Dunbar is GM for EMEA; Simon Mok heads up APAC while Scott Wassmer becomes GM for the Americas.
Appnovation’s GMs each have a brief to grow their regional teams by recruiting new talent. In the UK, Jez Proctor, who joins from R/GA, has been appointed Managing Director, while former Creative Director at Publicis Sapient, Amanda Glasgow, joins as Appnovation’s Head of Experience, EMEA. The investment follows Appnovation’s acquisition of leading digital agency Wunderkraut Benelux in 2016 and the establishing of a European HQ in Reading, the UK’s Silicon Valley.
To reflect Appnovation’s full-service proposition, Appnovation has rebranded, giving a nod to the consultancy’s technology roots but with a fresh new feel which is bold, vibrant and speaks to its creative offering.
