Patient Object Model
Sutter Health is the 4th largest healthcare provider in the United States. The R&D division within Sutter Health consists of a team of developers, architects, business analysts and a Project Management Office to proof new ideas in technology for healthcare.
For this project, Appnovation assisted the Sutter R&D team in the architecting and development of a concept named Patient Object Model (POM), which attempts to streamline the various silos within the different software applications and processes for each functional area of the healthcare system.
The Proof of Concept for the POM uses MuleSoft to create a central enterprise integration layer, allowing the various systems used by associated hospitals, medical practitioners, pharmacies, etc. to seamlessly interact in unison. The business impact, as the name suggests, is to bring the focus of healthcare back to the patient with more responsive, coordinated and effective care without being constrained by technology systems.
Appnovation, a Top MuleSoft Consulting Partner, was recommended by Mulesoft for our strong delivery record.
