Package Deliverables

Here is what the package entails:

  • A Technical Playbook that includes completed integration architecture, initial API definition, and risk analysis
  • An interactive Adoption Workshop that provides knowledge transfer, evaluation of current integration infrastructure, requirments review, and API roadmap (reiterated in playbook)
  • A valid license quote for MuleSoft deployment and/or integrations

Engagement, Roles, & Responsibilities

The Appnovation team for the engagement will be comprised of the following roles:

  • Project Manager
  • Workshop Faciliator
  • Appnovation Mulesoft Expert
  • Solution Architect
  • Business Analyst

There will be a 1 day on­site visit to the client’s office in Week 1; with the expectation that subsequent sessions with client stakeholders may be done remotely via video conferencing (i.e. BlueJeans, Skype, etc.)


  1. The Pre­-Discovery Questionnaire must be completed prior to the 1 day onsite in Week 1
  2. Client stakeholders are available for consultation and feedback during Weeks 1 and 2 of the engagement.

Week 0
  • A customized Pre-Discovery Questionnaire is sent to the main client point of contact 1 week before the start of the 1 day on-site visit.
  • Customize Agenda. Send out a few days prior to the 2 day discovery

  • Completed Questionnaire that identifies stakeholders who will need attend the 1 day on-site visit
  • Identify pain points, current application network set up, organizational factors that may influence exposing current and future assets

1 day on-site visit, covering:

  • Kickoff
  • Workshop
  • Review connectivity issues / goals across SOA, SaaS, and APIs
  • Roadmap of current and future projects that can utlize assets and be exposed using MuleSoft
  • On premise, cloud, or hybrid . Which model fits best
  • Playbook creation
  • Mulesoft licensing overview
  • Mulesoft estimating
  • External kickoff slide, workshop; workshop notes
  • Connectivity roadmap and enablement
  • Playbook (in progress)
  • Price quote for MuleSoft licensing
  • PM does engagement kickoff with client. Workshop is held with client stakeholders to get a better handle on who will be using Mulesoft, pain points, desired outcomes and requirements
  • Connectivity roadmap and enablement path is added to the Playbook
  • Playbook is created by Appno team
  • Quote is produced to help client understand current cost and forecast future costs for budget allocation purposes

  • Training agenda, training notes

  • An enablement estimate and schedule is produced by the Appnovation team
  • Training agenda is sent ahead of time prior to week 3. Training notes are for internal use only
